Sharaad Kuttan
Born in Johor Bahru, educated in Singapore and settled in the Klang Valley for the last 20 years, Sharaad’s nomadic existence has taken him into the media, human rights advocacy and, with a Masters degree in Sociology – into teaching as well. Having had stints in a number of top news organisations, Sharaad was known for his exceptional grilling skills as an anchor of a top performing morning drive-time programme on Malaysian airwaves. He also writes about art and is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA). He was co-editor of “Looking at Culture) – a collection of essays on culture in Singapore – and contributed to the edited collection, “Elections and Democracy in Malaysia” (UKM Press).
