Today we speak to the author of “The Development of Malaysian Capitalism, From British Rule to the Present Day” whose book is credited with responding to “naysayers” who have had a hard time explaining the success of our particular model of capitalist growth. We also explore her recent work on the “precious” relationship between Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China, especially as it has rapidly evolved over less than a decade.
