Singapore from 21-22 January 2006.
The documenta 12 Magazine Project, headed by Georg Schöllhammer, brought together more than 70 print and online periodicals throughout the world. This video documents a meeting on art and culture magazines in Southeast Asia held in Singapore from 21-22 January 2006.
On the second day of the documenta 12 Magazine Project in Singapore, a public forum (of three sessions) was scheduled:
(1) Presentation on documenta 12 by Ruth Noack (a curator of the documenta 12) and presentation on documenta 12 Magazine Project by Goerg Shoellhammer who heads the Project; [not filmed]
(2) Panel Discussion: “Art Writing & the Public: Perspective from Malaysia and Singapore”. The discussion was moderated by Lee Weng Choy, and speakers included Ray Langenbach, Lucy Davis and Sharaad Kuttan;
(3) SE Asia Editors’ reports.
